Nives Ogrinc is the Deputy Head of the Department and Head of the Group for Organic Geochemistry at Jožef Stefan Institute . She combined her experience in isotope geochemistry to that of food research, obtaining authenticity and geographical origin of foodstuff. In addition, she is a member of the expert group on Food Quality and Safety in the framework of the European Technology Platform 'Food for Life'.

Lidija Strojnik is a PhD student of the Ecotechnologies Program at Jožef Stefan International Postgraduate School and works at the Department of the Environmental Sciences at Jožef Stefan Institute. Main focus of her work regarding the REALMed project is the analysis of aromatic compounds and their stable isotopic composition in foodstuff using different techniques such as SPME and GC-C-IRMS.

Staša Hamzić Gregorčič is a PhD student of the Ecotechnologies Program at Jožef Stefan International Postgraduate School and works at the Department of the Environmental Sciences at Jožef Stefan Institute. Main focus of her work regarding the REALMed project is the analysis of strontium isotopes in foodstuff using the Multicolector ICP-MS.
